Hard Road Brewing was established in 2018 and opened their Bayswater taproom in November 2019. At any time of the year they will find Brown Ales and Porters available, but with 21 pouring taps to choose from (including a hand pump), there’s something for everyone. 

Owners Angie and Lein met overseas in Thailand and married in 2006. They fell in love with brewing in California (2006-2012), moved to Australia in 2012 and opened “Caltoria Brewery” in 2015.  This morphed into Hard Road in 2018. 

They literally built this brewery themselves and ‘took the Hard Road to owning and operating a brewery,’  but without the knowledge and background attained during this period they would not be where they are today.

Their venue has a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere offering pizzas, bar snacks and rotating food trucks. Hard Road boasts knowledgeable staff, a fantastic selection of beverages (full bar menu for non beer drinkers) and you can see exactly where your craft brew comes from as you sit up close and personal with the tanks.
